Boarding the Train
Trips that Sell Out or Trip Cancellation
If a train is SOLD OUT of tickets, there will be notification on the website excursion listing.
If we have to CANCEL a trip, we will call or email all Reserved Passengers based on the contact information given at the time of the reservation.
There will be a message on the Ticket Phones: (315) 209-1029 or (315) 374-1570 indicating either a SOLD OUT or CANCELLED train.
Boarding the Train
- Please arrive at the boarding location 30 minutes before departure.
- Ticket reservations will be verified by Finger Lakes Railway staff at that time.
- All tickets are for general seating.
- Groups of 5 or more should board together if you want to sit near each other.
- Our trains are not wheelchair accessible at this time. Passengers will need to climb 6-7 steps to board the train. Please notify our staff regarding passengers with special needs and we will try to board you early. We ask that the handicapped also have a ticketed companion to aid them with boarding the train.
- All other passengers will remain on the ground (weather permitting) until boarding is announced. Please do not climb on the equipment until boarding is announced, as the train may move at any time.
- Passengers are welcome to bring their own food and drink (within reason), with the exception of alcoholic beverages. Based on circumstances, we do reserve the right to restrict food and drink consumption while on the train.
